More than a immobile memorial, the monuments tell a story
This was the hero film of the whole Esports World Cup 2025 video suite. The event opener was designed to set the emotional tone before the kick-off.
From Concept to Final Result
Iconic EWC keys, driven by a brand inspired energy, travel through our event arena, compiled of beautifully crafted and posed games statues. Each of these iconic game assets are missing an integral piece - a triangular recess that can only be completed by a participant’s key.
Our journey sees numerous mid-action games scenes energised by their completion as the energy source interacts with each moment. Unsuccessful player keys distort and fall, leaving a graveyard of crushed golden triangles on our path to immortality - the tournament Totem.
The energy pulse will be a force that flows through the world.
Inspired by the brand triangle, the energy will flow activating moments, revealing secrets, and carrying the keys with precision. This beam could be used to dilate time so that as we reach a character it may be static with a slow camera.
As the beam crosses into other monuments, we create a sense of beautiful chaos..
